Mill Levy and District Obligations
Mill Levy
Remuda Ridge Metropolitan District currently has a total mill levy made up of two parts.
A mill levy of 47.522 mills is used to repay existing debt. A separate mill levy of 11.881 mills is budgeted for district operations and maintenance.
At this time, there is no discussion of issuing additional mill levies. The debt mill levy will remain in place until the existing debt is fully paid.
The maturity date for the current debt is December 1, 2051. No additional long-term financial obligations are currently anticipated.
District Obligations
The primary purpose of the Remuda Ridge Metropolitan District is to collect tax revenue to repay existing long-term debt and to fund the operations and maintenance of certain public improvements.
These responsibilities include maintenance of public open space, roadways, drainage systems, and detention ponds after construction and transfer of the appropriate improvements to the City.
At this time, the District does not anticipate providing additional primary functions.
